goal celebration.jpeg Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido has decided not to renew the  contracts of strikers Jon Newby and Martin Butler

Newby, the 30 year old former Liverpool youth team player was on loan from scottish club Greenock Morton played 22 times for the Brewers but failed to find the net. He was hopeful of a perminant deal but is currently looking for a new club after being released by the scottish first division side after just four games

Butler (34) the much travelled former Cambridge, Reading and Rotherham United forward became Roy Mcfarland's first Brewers signing as he had played under him at Cambridge. Despite being prolific in his earlier career he netted just twice in 12 Albion game
