Peschisolidos a Legz man

The 24-year-old has had an oustanding first season with Albion after joining on a free transfer from League Two rivals Crewe last summer.

He is the club`s only ever-present in the league this term and has attracted the attention of scouts from Championship clubs.

"Legzy has been our most consistent player this season and I firmly believe that he will play at a much higher level," said Peschisolido. "You can count the mistakes he has made on the fingers on one hand, but at the same time he has saved us a lot of very important points. Southend was an example of that and only a couple of weeks before that he made a world-class save at Bradford.

"There are other instances of his great goalkeeping this season, and it's that sort of consistency that you want from your players.

"I said after the game at the weekend that I think he is a Premier League goalkeeper of the future. That's high praise but I stand by it because he has all the credentials needed to go all the way to the top level."
