Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido is convinced the Brewers will avoid relegation and says their season of struggle will make him a better boss. The Brewers are only two points off the League Two relegation zone but have four games in hand on the bottom two.

Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby: "I'm a fighter and I'm not going to give up. I know we can turn this around.

"We will keep scrapping and be safe come the end of the season. This will make me a stronger, better manager."

The Brewers, beaten 3-0 by Oxford on Sunday, have now lost three of their last four games and have not won in their last five matches.

Peschisolido added: "I've learned a lot from my mistakes, how we've coped this season and a lot about the players.

"And once we're safe this season, I'll make sure we get it right next season."

The Brewers are next in action on Wednesday when they play host to Macclesfield.
