Cody McDonald denied the Brewers victory with an equaliser 12 minutes from time after Sam Winnall had given the home side a first-half lead.
Peschisolido was pleased with the work-rate of his players as they moved a point closer to safety.
He said: "It's turned out to be a decent point in our position. We worked extremely hard, we closed down and defensively I thought we put out bodies on the line.
"We could have kept possession better and we could have passed the ball better, but for a team pushing for promotion they didn't cause us that many problems.
"In general, I thought we coped pretty well with (Adebayo) Akinfenwa, but then the boy (Cody) McDonald came up with a little bit of magic and they got the equaliser."
