branston1Manager Paul Peschisolido has added Two fresh faces to his squad in preperation for League Two football which kicks off in just under Three weeks

Branston is a 30 year old defensive powerhouse and was captain of Kettering Town last season. He was seen as the lynch pin of a defense that had the best goals against record in last seasons Blue Square Premier League with just 37 goals conceded

An experianced centre half was high on Peschisolido's transfer targets and the former Leicester City, Sheffield Wednesday and Oldham Athletic man has that in abbundance.

This signing will be seen as a shock and something of a coup as Burton snatched his signature from under the noses of fellow League Two side Torquay United

Pesch was delighted with his latest capture and says "i felt we needed someone who is strong and phyically commanding with leadership qualities, a general tough guy on the pitch and i know guy will give us that"

Jaques Maghoma as we reported earlier this week is a 21 year old former Tottenham Hotspurs trainee who was released last season from the London club and like Branston moves to the Pirelli stadium on a Two year contract.

An injury and the departure of Martin Jol halted his Spurs progress and sees his move to burton as a step in the right direction and a chance to relaunch his career
