Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido is hoping the FA will allow Shaun Kelly to join the club
The Brewers boss was impressed by the free agent in a reserve game in which the 21-year-old played for Port Vale last week. The former Chester City defender has agreed a deal with Albion but Peschisolido's attempts to sign the centre-half have been snagged by red tape surrounding the player's departure from the now wound-up Blue Square Premier side. Registration rules forbid players signing for another club when coming out of a separate contract outside the transfer window, but Peschisolido hopes special dispensation will be granted in the 21-year-old's case.
