Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson expects FA Cup fever to grip the town when Championship side Middlesbrough visit the Pirelli Stadium next month. The Brewers beat Chesterfield 3-1 on Saturday and now face Boro in the third round on the weekend of 8/9 January.

"I would imagine we'll get a capacity," Robinson told BBC Radio Derby.

"After the awesome performance against Chesterfield, everyone in the town will be buzzing. That's what the FA Cup does and the excitement it creates."

The Brewers had a wonderful FA Cup run under Nigel Clough in 2006 when they held Manchester United to a draw at home before

losing 5-0 in the replay at Old Trafford.

And Robinson expects similar interest this time around.

"Since we played Manchester United, we have increased the capacity by a thousand to about 7,000 so I would hope we would see a full house for the first time," he said.
