Burton Albion V York at Pirelli Stadium - Match Preview

Brewers wait on trio

Burton have three fresh injury concerns ahead of the visit of York.

Adam McGurk will continue to be monitored after the striker was knocked unconscious following a collision with his own goalkeeper during the FA Cup draw with Fleetwood last weekend, while defender Chris Hussey has a tight hamstring and midfielder Jack Dyer is also a doubt because of a knee problem.

Defender Zander Diamond, midfielders Jimmy Phillips and Matty Palmer and strikers Dominic Knowles and Billy Kee all began on the bench at Highbury and are options for Brewers boss Gary Rowett should he have to make changes to his starting line up.

Rory Delap could feature following a three-month absence with a hamstring injury but striker Michael Symes (groin) and midfielder Adam Reed (hamstring) are likely to remain unavailable.

York's on-loan goalkeeper Aaron McCarey is expected to retain his place as Michael Ingham continues his recovery from a hip problem.

Ingham has missed the last four matches and McCarey was drafted in from Wolves in time to make his debut for the Minstermen in their goalless draw with Rochdale last time out.

Defender Dan Parslow is out for the rest of the season with the knee injury sustained in the recent defeat at Southend and Chris Smith (ankle) remains sidelined, so David McGurk and Keith Lowe will resume their partnership at the heart of defence.

Striker Ryan Bowman sits out the third game of a four-match ban as York chase their first league win in six.
