poole (2).jpegSigning up veteran goalkeeper Kevin Poole to a full time contract is proving to be a stumbling block for new Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido.

Poole, despite being nearly 46 has told the club that he feels fit enough to carry on playing for another year at least but his full time job with Birmingham City may cause a problem.

The Brewers boss has said "we are currently trying to accommodate the situation and find ways and means to keep Kevin on board but ideally and being a league club i'd like players here who can train every day"

Poole's is not the only Full time contract Peschisolido is having problems with. Last seasons top scorer Greg Pearson who is effectively still on a part time contract has a sports psychology degree at Birmingham university to complete and is eager to do so.

The former West Ham United trainee turned down a move to League club Notts County to begin it and signed for the Brewers instead

Poole's fellow shot stopper irishman Saul Deeney is still thinking on the new contract offered to him by the Brewers boss last week
